\/>\nPledging\u3000yourself\u3000as\u3000security\uff1f<br \/>\nOf\u3000course\uff1b\u3000like\u3000the\u3000wise\uff1b\u3000you\u3000must\u3000be<br \/>\nFree\u3000of\u3000attachment\u3000to\u3000yourself\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\n10\u3002\u3000No\u3000matter\u3000whose\u3000life\uff1b\u3000it\u3000does\u3000not<br \/>\nDiffer\u3000from\u3000the\u3000moments\u3000of\u3000mind\u3002<br \/>\nThis\u3000people\u3000certainly\u3000do\u3000not\u3000perceive\u3002<br \/>\nSee\uff1b\u3000too\uff1b\u3000attachment&#8217;s\u3000instability\uff1b<br \/>\nIndicated\u3000by\u3000suffering&#8217;s\u3000end\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\n18\u3002\u3000Knowing\u3000it\u3000is\u3000of\u3000no\u3000benefit\uff1b<br \/>\nStill\u3000you\u3000have\u3000injured\u3000yourself\u3002<br \/>\nYou\u3000make\u3000yourself\u3000a\u3000hypocrite\uff1b<br \/>\nWhich\u3000also\u3000is\u3000improper\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\n19\u3002\u3000People\u3000in\u3000this\u3000world\u3000wander\uff1b<br \/>\nFull\uff1b\u3000as\u3000it\u3000were\uff1b\u3000of\u3000suffering\u3002<br \/>\nWhy\u3000fill\u3000with\u3000suffering<br \/>\nPeople\u3000who\u3000already\u3000suffer\uff1f<br \/>\n<br \/>\nDo\u3000not\u3000meeting\u3000and\u3000parting<br \/>\nBoth\u3000seem\u3000to\u3000go\u3000together\uff1f<br \/>\n<br \/>\n21\u3002\u3000When\u3000the\u3000past\u3000is\u3000beginningless<br \/>\nAnd\u3000the\u3000future\u3000endless\uff1b<br \/>\nWhy\u3000do\u3000you\u3000notice\u3000being\u3000together<br \/>\nTherefore\u3000never\u3000be\u3000attached<br \/>\nTo\u3000that\u3000which\u3000is\u3000your\u3000enemy\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\n23\u3002\u3000Fool\uff1b\u3000because\u3000you\u3000fear\u3000separation\uff1b<br \/>\nYou\u3000do\u3000not\u3000leave\u3000home\u3002<br \/>\n24\u3002\u3000You\u3000may\u3000think\u3000you\u3000must\u3000obviously<br \/>\nGo\u3000to\u3000the\u3000forest\u3000once\u3000this\u3000has\u3000been\u3000done\u3002<br \/>\nWhatever\u3000you\u3000do\u3000must\u3000be\u3000left\u3000behind\u3002<br \/>\nWhat\u3000is\u3000the\u3000value\u3000of\u3000having\u3000done\u3000it\uff1f<br \/>\n<br \/>\nThat\u3000which\u3000cuts\u3000craving\u3000for\u3000reward\u3000and\u3000honor\uff1b<br \/>\nThe\u3000best\u3000spur\u3000to\u3000practice\u3000with\u3000effort\u3000in\u3000seclusion\uff1b<br \/>\nThe\u3000excellent\u3000secret\u3000of\u3000all\u3000the\u3000scriptures\uff1b<br \/>\nIs\u3000initially\u3000to\u3000remember\u3000death\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\nThis\u3000is\u3000the\u3000first\u3000chapter\u3000from\u3000the\u3000Four\u3000Hundred\u3000on\u3000the\u3000Yogic\u3000Deeds\uff1b<br \/>\nshowing\u3000the\u3000means\u3000to\u3000abandon\u3000the\u3000belief\u3000in\u3000permanence\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br \/>\nBy\u3000the\u3000body\uff1b\u3000and\u3000pleasure\u3000by\u3000other\u3000\uff07factors\uff07\uff1b<br \/>\nWhy\u3000are\u3000you\u3000devoted\u3000to<br \/>\nThis\u3000hull\uff1b\u3000a\u3000container\u3000of\u3000suffering\uff1f<br \/>\n<br \/>\n28\u3002\u3000When\u3000humans\u3000do\u3000not\u3000have<br \/>\nAs\u3000much\u3000pleasure\u3000as\u3000pain\uff1b<br \/>\nShould\u3000so\u3000much\u3000pain<br \/>\nBe\u3000considered\u3000negligible\uff1f<br \/>\n<br \/>\n29\u3002\u3000Ordinary\u3000people\u3000are\u3000bent\u3000on\u3000pleasure\uff1b<br \/>\nThose\u3000who\u3000have\u3000pleasure\u3000are\u3000hard\u3000to\u3000find\u3002<br \/>\nThus\u3000it\u3000is\u3000as\u3000if\u3000transitory<br \/>\nBeings\u3000are\u3000pursued\u3000by\u3000suffering\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\n30\u3002\u3000Suffering\u3000is\u3000found\u3000at\u3000will\uff1b<br \/>\nBut\u3000what\u3000pleasure\u3000is\u3000there\u3000at\u3000will\uff1f<br \/>\nWhy\u3000do\u3000you\u3000value\u3000the\u3000rare<br \/>\nBut\u3000do\u3000not\u3000fear\u3000the\u3000plentiful\uff1f<br \/>\n<br \/>\n31\u3002\u3000A\u3000fortable\u3000body<br \/>\nIs\u3000a\u3000container\u3000of\u3000suffering\u3002<br \/>\nThus\u3000valuing\u3000the\u3000body\u3000and<br \/>\nValuing\u3000a\u3000foe\u3000both\u3000seem\u3000alike\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\n32\u3002\u3000The\u3000body\uff1b\u3000however\u3000long\u3000one\u3000spends\uff1b<br \/>\nWill\u3000not\u3000in\u3000itself\u3000bee\u3000pleasurable\u3002<br \/>\nTo\u3000say\u3000its\u3000nature\u3000can\u3000be\u3000overruled<br \/>\nBy\u3000other\u3000factors\u3000is\u3000improper\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\n33\u3002\u3000The\u3000high\u3000have\u3000mental\u3000suffering\uff1b<br \/>\nFor\u3000the\u3000mon\u3000it\u3000es\u3000from\u3000the\u3000body\u3002<br \/>\nDay\u3000by\u3000day\uff1b\u3000both\u3000kinds\u3000of\u3000suffering<br \/>\nOverwhelm\u3000people\u3000in\u3000the\u3000world\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\n34\u3002\u3000Pleasure\u3000is\u3000governed\u3000by\u3000thoughts\uff1b<br \/>\nThoughts\u3000are\u3000governed\u3000by\u3000pain\u3002<br \/>\nThus\u3000there\u3000is\u3000nothing\u3000anywhere<br \/>\nMore\u3000powerful\u3000than\u3000pain\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\n35\u3002\u3000With\u3000the\u3000passage\u3000of\u3000time<br \/>\nPain\u3000increases\u3002<br \/>\nPleasure\uff1b\u3000therefore\uff1b\u3000seems\u3000as\u3000if<br \/>\nAlien\u3000to\u3000this\u3000body\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\n36\u3002\u3000There\u3000seem\u3000to\u3000be\u3000many\u3000causes<br \/>\nof\u3000suffering\uff1b\u3000like\u3000sickness\u3000and\u3000others\uff1b<br \/>\nBut\u3000humans\u3000do\u3000not\u3000seem\u3000to\u3000have<br \/>\nAs\u3000many\u3000causes\u3000of\u3000pleasure\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\n37\u3002\u3000With\u3000the\u3000intensification\u3000of\u3000pleasure<br \/>\nIts\u3000opposite\u3000is\u3000seen\u3000to\u3000occur\u3002<br \/>\nWith\u3000the\u3000intensification\u3000of\u3000pain<br \/>\nThere\u3000will\u3000not\u3000likewise\u3000be\u3000its\u3000opposite\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\n38\u3002\u3000With\u3000the\u3000conditions\u3000for\u3000pleasure<br \/>\nits\u3000opposite\u3000is\u3000seen\u3002<br \/>\nWith\u3000the\u3000conditions\u3000for\u3000pain<br \/>\nThere\u3000is\u3000not\u3000its\u3000opposite\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\n39\u3002\u3000When\u3000you\u3000have\u3000spent\uff1b\u3000are\u3000spending<br \/>\nAnd\u3000will\u3000spend\u3000time\u3000dying\uff1b<br \/>\nIt\u3000is\u3000not\u3000at\u3000all\u3000proper\u3000to\u3000call<br \/>\nThe\u3000process\u3000of\u3000dying\u3000pleasurable\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\n40\u3002\u3000When\u3000beings\u3000with\u3000bodies\u3000are\u3000constantly<br \/>\nAfflicted\u3000by\u3000hunger\u3000and\u3000so\u3000forth\uff1b<br \/>\nIt\u3000is\u3000not\u3000at\u3000all\u3000proper\u3000to\u3000call<br \/>\nBeing\u3000afflicted\u3000pleasurable\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\n41\u3002\u3000Though\u3000powerless\uff1b\u3000the\u3000bining\u3000of<br \/>\nAll\u3000the\u3000elements\u3000produces\u3000\uff07the\u3000body\uff07\uff1b<br \/>\nThus\u3000it\u3000is\u3000not\u3000at\u3000all\u3000proper\u3000to\u3000call<br \/>\nWhat\u3000is\u3000inpatible\u3000pleasurable\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\n42\u3002\u3000When\u3000there\u3000is\u3000never\u3000that<br \/>\nWhich\u3000will\u3000relieve\u3000cold\u3000and\u3000so\u3000forth\uff1b<br \/>\nIt\u3000is\u3000not\u3000at\u3000all\u3000proper\u3000to\u3000call<br \/>\nBeing\u3000destroyed\u3000pleasurable\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\n43\u3002\u3000When\u3000on\u3000earth\u3000no\u3000action\u3000is<br \/>\nDone\u3000without\u3000exertion\uff1b<br \/>\nIt\u3000is\u3000not\u3000at\u3000all\u3000proper\u3000to\u3000call<br \/>\nPerforming\u3000actions\u3000pleasurable\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\n44\u3002\u3000In\u3000this\u3000\uff07life\uff07\u3000and\u3000in\u3000others\uff1b\u3000always<br \/>\nOne\u3000should\u3000guard\u3000against\u3000ill\u3000deeds\u3002<br \/>\nCalling\u3000them\u3000pleasurable\u3000is\u3000not\u3000at\u3000all<br \/>\nProper\u3000when\u3000there\u3000are\u3000bad\u3000rebirths\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\n45\u3002\u3000There\u3000is\u3000never\u3000any\u3000pleasure<br \/>\nFor\u3000human\u3000in\u3000riding\u3000and\u3000so\u3000forth\u3002<br \/>\nHow\u3000can\u3000that\u3000which\u3000at\u3000the\u3000start<br \/>\nDoes\u3000not\u3000begin\uff1b\u3000in\u3000the\u3000end\u3000increase\uff1f<br \/>\n<br \/>\n46\u3002\u3000Thinking\u3000the\u3000alleviation<br \/>\nOf\u3000pain\u3000is\u3000pleasure<br \/>\nIs\u3000like\u3000someone\u3000who\u3000feels\u3000delight<br \/>\nVomiting\u3000into\u3000a\u3000gold\u3000pot\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\n47\u3002\u3000By\u3000beginning\u3000it\u3000stops\u3000the\u3000produced\u3000<br \/>\nHow\u3000can\u3000pain\u3000that\u3000begins\u3000be\u3000pleasure\uff1f<br \/>\nIt\u3000seems\u3000the\u3000Subduer\u3000therefore\u3000said<br \/>\nBoth\u3000birth\u3000and\u3000cessation\u3000are\u3000suffering\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\n48\u3002\u3000If\u3000mon\u3000beings\u3000do\u3000not\u3000see\u3000suffering<br \/>\nBecause\u3000pleasure\u3000disguises\u3000it\uff1b<br \/>\nWhy\u3000is\u3000there\u3000no\u3000pleasure<br \/>\nWhich\u3000obscures\u3000suffering\uff1f<br \/>\n<br \/>\n49\u3002\u3000mon\u3000beings\u3000must\u3000be\u3000told\uff1b\u3000\u3003You\u3000are\u3000not<br \/>\nFree\u3000from\u3000attachment\u3000to\u3000suffering\u3002\u3003<br \/>\nCertainly\u3000Tathagatas\u3000therefore\u3000have\u3000said<br \/>\nThis\u3000is\u3000the\u3000worst\u3000confusion\u3000at\u3000all\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\n50\u3002\u3000The\u3000impermanent\u3000is\u3000definitely\u3000harmed\u3002<br \/>\nWhat\u3000is\u3000harmed\u3000is\u3000not\u3000pleasurable\u3002<br \/>\nTherefore\u3000all\u3000that\u3000is\u3000impermanent<br \/>\nIs\u3000said\u3000to\u3000be\u3000suffering\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\nAbiding\u3000in\u3000this\u3000fathomless\u3000ocean\u3000of\u3000cyclic\u3000existence\uff1b<br \/>\nUtterly\u3000tormented\u3000by\u3000the\u3000crocodiles\u3000of\u3000disturbing\u3000emotions\uff1b<br \/>\nWhat\u3000sentient\u3000beings\u3000would\u3000not\u3000feel\u3000aversion\uff1f<br \/>\nWith\u3000effort\u3000endeavor\u3000to\u3000attain\u3000enlightenment\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\nThis\u3000is\u3000the\u3000second\u3000chapter\u3000from\u3000the\u3000Four\u3000Hundred\u3000on\u3000the\u3000Yogic\u3000Deeds\uff1b<br \/>\nshowing\u3000the\u3000means\u3000to\u3000abandon\u3000the\u3000belief\u3000in\u3000pleasure\u3002<br \/>\n<br \/>\n<br
